What is Delta Sigma Pi?
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. We are known as the foremost business fraternity because we equip our members throughout their lives to achieve maximum impact in their studies, careers, communities, civic involvement, and personal relationships.
Our purpose is to foster and support a lifelong commitment to excellence in both our personal and professional lives as we seek to make a difference in business, our communities, and the world at large.
A Letter from Our Fall '24 President
Joining Delta Sigma Pi has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. This outstanding organization has provided me with a lifelong brotherhood, and I am deeply honored to have had the opportunity to lead such a remarkable group of individuals toward a brighter future. I became a member in Fall 2022, during my first semester as a sophomore, and I am privileged to be part of a fraternity that values growth, friendship, professional development, inclusion, and diversity.
At Delta Sigma Pi, executive board positions are held for only one semester, allowing more members to take on leadership roles. This structure has given me the chance to serve in two distinct positions, including as President. During my tenure as President, I had the privilege of organizing and leading a group of 12 brothers to our LEAD School in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where we networked with other chapters and developed essential leadership skills. I also co-presented a breakout session with my Senior Vice President on Fundraising Best Practices.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities Delta Sigma Pi has provided me to enhance my professional skills, build confidence, and learn from my fellow brothers. Most of all, I am thankful for the incredible individuals I have met along the way. The support I received from my brothers, especially during my presidency, was invaluable, and I am extremely proud of what our executive team accomplished together.
I look forward to the future of this esteemed organization, whether it involves achieving excellence through national initiatives, expanding our fraternity through a refined recruitment process, or strengthening our fundraising and service efforts.
