Delta Sigma Pi
Epsilon Tau Chapter
What is Delta Sigma Pi?
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. We are known as the foremost business fraternity because we equip our members throughout their lives to achieve maximum impact in their studies, careers, communities, civic involvement, and personal relationships.
Our purpose is to foster and support a lifelong commitment to excellence in both our personal and professional lives as we seek to make a difference in business, our communities, and the world at large.
A Letter from Our Fall '23 President
Delta Sigma Pi has provided me with lifelong brotherhood and I am privileged to lead this exceptional group of individuals towards a brighter future. I joined DSP during my sophomore year and have been honored to be a part of this fraternity ever since. All officers on the executive board only serve for a semester; therefore, more members of the fraternity have the chance to be in a leadership position. Because of this, I have been able to hold 2 different positions, before I serve my 3rd this fall. During my position of Chancellor in Fall 2022, I created our fraternity’s very first incentive program which focuses on fostering relationships in and outside of chapter events through a reward system. My love for DSP continued to grow when I attended a conference in New Jersey and networked with so many brothers. I am thankful that I was able to attend and through this, I created so many resources for myself and others during my time serving as VP Pledge Education.
This incredible support system I had, inside and outside of Dayton, influenced me to go for Presidency. It is our first time ever accepting first-semester freshmen and I am excited to see how this impacts recruitment and the inevitable growth of our chapter. I look forward to continuing to achieve excellence through nationals, growing our fraternity through our new recruitment process, and strengthening our fundraising and service efforts.
